✂️ Haircut Template Mapping​

Haircut Template Mapping is used to map the Haircut template with holdings to compute Collateral and CFS on a holding-wise basis. Haircut Master Template can be mapped with respective holding types.

📋 Holding Types​

Haircut templates can be mapped to the following holding types:

  • DP - Demat Position holdings
  • PLEDGE - Pledged securities
  • Approved Scrips - Pre-approved securities list
  • T5 - T+5 holdings
  • MTF Position - Margin Trading Facility positions
  • LAS - Loan Against Securities

Common Holding Type​

Common: Common as holding can be used when the user wants to give a common Haircut Percentage on a scrip-wise basis for all types of holdings.

⚙️ Mapping Configuration​

  • List of haircut Master templates created in haircut master menu will be displayed in the drop-down list field against each holding type
  • User can map the preferred haircut template to respective holding type wise for CFS and Collateral separately
  • If Template percentage is selected in Master config in Collateral and CFS Haircut percentage variable, then system will refer to this holding-wise mapped template for Collateral and CFS

📐 Mapping Example​

Template Configuration:

  • Template Name: AS1
  • AS1 template has 50% haircut for TCS scrip

Mapping Application:

  • If AS1 Template is selected by the user against DP Holding & CFS Template
  • Hence, a 50% Haircut for TCS is applied for DP holding's CFS benefit
